History; The Kouba clan was founded, and led by Ki Kouba, the father of Kontei and Akkenai Kouba. His wife, Odoriko Kouba, was the head of gathering food and finding shelter. The clan needed a safe place to sleep every night, and Odoriko, being the head of this operation, had to find it. If a shelter could not be found, Ki Kouba used a Doton technique to house them for the night. They traveled with camels, some Kouba being merchants of the desert. One night, an unruly customer came to a merchant cluster, towards the back of the caravan. The customer wanted a bargain, something the Kouba clan could not afford to give. After refusing to give the man the bargain, the clan told him to lose the aggression, or action would be taken. The man was outraged, and killed two of the merchants. Retaliating, Ki Kouba killed the man using one technique. After word of the man's death got back to the nearest village, his clan planned a counterattack on the Kouba. As it turns out, the man was a clan second-in-command. The clan attacked the Kouba using guerilla tactics. They wiped each other out, leaving only the youngest male in each clan, and his oldest sibling. Some, however, managed to escape, a few men and their wives. Kontei Kouba is the only current member of the Kouba clan, his brother and he separated, and other clan members with unknown locations. Kontei has taken on the roll of his father, planning to lead the clan once he has found it's members.
